It’s well into cuffing season, and the opportunity to take an activist boyfriend to holiday celebrations has passed, but don't fret! You can always obsessively fantasize about a celebrity boyfriend.

If you're looking for a handsome man who's also stimulating in the intellectual sense, check out our list of woke and sexy potential baes:

1. John Cho

Commonly known as Harold of Harold & Kumar, or "the MILF Guy" in American Pie, John Cho is pretty recognizable.

The 43-year-old actor, who is currently filming Star Trek Beyond, has also become an online sensation as the dude who takes every opportunity to throw shade at Hollywood racism.

In 2013, the actor called himself director J.J. Abrams’ “Asian puppet” after the release of Star Trek Into Darkness.

In an interview with Straight, Cho discussed the history of his character, Sulu. He was a lead in the original series, like Kirk and Spock, but in Abrams' depiction, Sulu is just a supporting player.

“I’m not J.J. Abrams, who’s ultimately responsible. I’m just his Asian puppet. Which, by the way, is also the title of my autobiography,” Cho said.

The shade didn't stop there. In a red-carpet interview with E!, Cho tried to de-prioritize Abrams in the conversation about Star Trek's success:

And in a 2012 interview with ET, Cho managed to slide in another jab at Abrams' decision to whitewash a character.

Infamous Star Trek villain Khan Noonien Singh was originally played by Ricardo Montalbán, but Abrams cast Benedict Cumberbatch. When asked who his favorite villain was, Cho fired some shots:

2. Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams might be the most perfect man alive.

The 34-year-old actor became popular for his role as Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey's Anatomy, but he's also a model and activist. Before we discuss his political ideologies, let's take a close look at his abs, for the sake of investigative journalism:

Sources confirm: Yes, good.

Williams also displays all the right levels of wokeness. He has done it all, including writing criticism of racism in Hollywood, penning essays about the undervaluing of black life in the U.S., and calling out systems of oppression on national television.

This man checks off every item on the list of requirements for an activist bae.

3. Matt McGorry

Besides balancing his roles in ABC's How to Get Away with Murder and Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, Matt McGorry has also managed to spend his time learning about feminism.

In early 2015, McGorry took to Facebook to declare himself a feminist in an attempt to destigmatize the word:

I'm embarrassed to admit that I only recently discovered the ACTUAL definition of "feminism." The fact that the term is sometimes clouded with anything other than pure support and positivity in our society is very tragic. I believe in gender equality. Being a feminist is for both women AND men. I AM A FEMINIST. In for equality? Pass it on -#LeanInTogether #LeanIn #IAmAFeminist #HeForShe

And then McGorry began the transition into being woke:

Considering that feminist thought is a fairly new concept for the 29-year-old actor, it isn't surprising that he's still learning every day.

After sharing on Facebook that he read The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander, McGorry admitted that he was just learning about his white privilege:

4. Aziz Ansari

Aziz Ansari has never shied away from confronting racism, homophobia, or society's fear of feminism in his work.

In an appearance on The Tonight Show, Ansari told David Letterman that he wants to level up his political advocacy enough to be considered a "brown Al Sharpton."

The joke came after Ansari took a jab at business magnate Rupert Murdoch's hateful tweets about Muslims:

Murdoch didn't respond to Ansari's tweets, and the comedian didn't forget:

The comedian has discussed sexism and male privilege in his stand-up routines, and was also sure to address gender inequality in his Netflix show, Master of None

The greatest part about Ansari's wokeness: It's effortless and hilarious.

We hope these actor/activists pave the way for more woke and sexy celebrities.
