Louis C.K. and actor Albert Brooks are creating an animated comedy pilot for FX, the network that currently houses Louie. Together they will write, executive produce, and offer their voices for the still-untitled show.

According to Deadline, the details of the pilot are vague, but the two funny guys are currently doing voice work for The Secret Life of Pets, an animated film that will be released to theaters this summer. Maybe it will be another show about talking animals?

Meanwhile, while his show is on an indefinite hiatus, C.K. has been producing a ton of other projects, which include the Amazon One Mississippi with Tig Notaro, a Zach Galifianakis series called Baskets, and Better Things with Louie standout Pamela Adlon. Like these three shows, their pilot will stem from C.K's production company Pig Newton.

If it's anything like the wave of amazing animated series we've been getting, then all should be good.
