Labyrinth, the '80s cult classic fantasy starring David Bowie at his most eccentric and a young Jennifer Connelly is getting a reboot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It's a bittersweet proposition when a beloved movie gets remade. On one hand, you're curious about what it will look like, and of course you  want more Labyrinth, but on the other hand, maybe they'll make a horrible movie and ruin your childhood (looking at you, Planet of the Apes '01).

Also, who on this earth can possibly replace David Bowie? It's simply not possible. But if we have to pick someone, I'm going to go out on a limb and recommend Nicolas Cage as the Goblin King, even though I feel like they'll end up using Johnny Depp (note: I know nothing).

This movie definitely has one great sign going for it. The reboot is being written by Guardians of the Galaxy co-writer Nicole Perlman.
