Female Shark Eats Male Shark Because He Wouldn't Stay in His Lane

Stay in your lane, man.

A female sand tiger shark was minding her own business in a Seoul aquarium when a Male Shark decided to piss her off. She retaliated by eating him whole.

The shark, who is 8 years old, was not very content with the smaller male shark, who's five, after he was encroaching on her territory. Because he didn't understand what "stay in your lane" means, she decided to eat him, devouring his whole body beginning with his head.

"Sharks have their own territory. However, sometimes when they bump against each other, they bite out of astonishment. I think the shark swallowed the whole body, because they usually eat it all when they bite the head part," PR manager of COEX aquarium, Oh Tae-youp told Reuters.

As you can see in the video above, the only thing left of the dude shark is his tail. It took the female 21 hours to get there. But, as a final insult to the male shark, the museum says that the female will regurgitate him after a couple of days; sharks can't digest other sharks.

While this the South Korea museum swears this is a rare occurrence between sharks, this episode will undoubtedly serve as an empowering tale to many female sharks who feel threatened and/or frustrated with their male tank mates.
