WATCH the Trailer for NBC’s Absurdly Hilarious New Series YOU, ME AND THE APOCALYPSE!

Not the best. Not the brightest. But they’re our only hope.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one: What do a nun from Italy, a death row inmate, a giraffe-obsessed little girl, and a British bank manager all have in common?

Well…nothing, really—except for the fact that they just might be the human race’s only hope for survival.

Yikes.

In NBC’s new series You, Me, and the Apocalypse, this ridiculous cast of characters—played by Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation), Jenna Fischer (The Office), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) and Mathew Baynton (Yonderland)—find themselves huddled in the same bunker as an eight-mile-wide comet is headed straight for Earth. As they watch on TV the mayhem that’s unfolding across the planet, they each flash back to how their unraveling lives managed to get them to this point. And while the end of the world as we know it is definitely a problem, the fact that this crew is our only hope to save the human race just might be an even bigger disaster.

You can check out the trailer for You, Me, and the Apocalypse in the video above. And don’t miss the series premiere on Thursday, Jan 28 at 8/7c only on NBC!
