Bulls, unlike their chill counterparts known as cows, are probably not super into the idea of people gathering to watch other people run away from them. At any rate, an annual running of the bulls event in Peru is making bullish headlines this week thanks to the fact that eight people were somehow injured when the bulls started really bulling out:
At least eight attendees were injured after the bulls started charging into a crowd of bystanders, the Mirror reports. The event, which took place earlier this month in Huancavelica in Peru's Cusco province, is described as part of a "four-day religious festival" that includes releasing a bunch of bulls into an open field.
Though fatalities were thankfully avoided in this instance, the footage is obvious proof that bulls will, on occasion, actually act like bulls.
Respect the bull.
