Working in the fast food industry is tough already; the hours are can be soul crushing, the wage packet is hardly worth the trouble and the food is about as appealing as eating broken shards of glass. So it’s not helped by ignorant costumers who threaten to 'kill you' and throw racial slurs at you because of something trivial like running out of napkins, which is what went down at a KFC in Manchester.

The incident took place at a KFC branch in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester and it was all caught on video and uploaded onto YouTube. The costumer in question appears to be a woman who grew increasingly frustrated that she “paid £40 for a meal and there’s not even a napkin in the box”… wow, talk about first world problems right? Mortified she found no napkins she started abusing the staff members and proceeded to throw cardboard food holders at them, all whilst screaming at the top of her lungs a verbal diatribe of abuse. Another woman, who was clearly her friend (and embarrassed by her ratchetness) had to drag her away , but not before she left with a parting shot, shouting “You f***ing little black b****”. It wasn't clear who it was directed to but the damaged had been done already, she was a hot mess and made herself look like a racist in the process, there's no coming back after that really.

The video has already been viewed over 10,000 times since it was uploaded on YouTube and the owner, ASAP 2420, wrote: “I really don’t know [what was wrong with her] I guess she needed napkins really bad.”

A spokesman for KFC told Manchester Evening News that it was:

“horrible to see this kind of behaviour towards our team members. We want to ensure they feel safe at all times when they’re at work and have offered them our support while we investigate further.”

Other than the totally-uncalled-for abuse, what we really to know is: why are you spending £40 in KFC, is that not just excessive?
