The definitely-not-a-hookup-app app, which is also a great place to pretend to be wine, was at the center of a recent experiment (conveniently) conducted by MYA Cosmetic Surgery. The experiment was simple: Photoshop a woman's photos (particularly in the general chest area) to see if shallow dudes behaved in a shallow manner.
A model identified only as "Carla from Manchester" reportedly landed hundreds more swipes on Tinder after researchers doctored her photos, reports the Manchester Evening News with an admirable sense of urgency. According to the company’s findings, the 24-year-old model landed 34 per cent more matches when her photo featured digitally enhanced DD breasts instead of her natural A cup size.
The enhanced photos were also "far more likely" to receive a comment about her appearance. The volume and nature of Carla’s interactions on the DD profile were also noticeably Tinderesque, including one charming gentleman who told Carla she looked like "the kind of girl who likes to be pushed up against the wall and fucked," the Daily Mail reports. That sounds familiar. Is that from a Hallmark card?
