'The Rap Year Book' Author Live Tweeted as he Gave Away $100 Bills

Shea Serrano, author of the bestseller "The Rap Year Book," gave away $100 bills to random fast food workers.

Shea Serrano, the former Grantland staff writer, sometimes Complex contributor and newly-minted New York Times bestselling author of The Rap Year Book, has had a really good year. In addition to selling a crazy amount of books, he also sold some custom bookmarks that looked like this:

Today, he decided to take the money he made from those bookmarks, plus a little more, and give it away in $100 increments, but he explains it much better himself. 

Then he followed through and live tweeted the whole thing.
