Smoking pot can cause paranoia and stress. On Wednesday afternoon an anxious Florida man, who was illegally growing marijuana, called authorities to turn himself in after hearing a helicopter hovering over his storage unit. However, according to the Huffington Post, the helicopter wasn't even looking for him, let alone it wasn't even a law enforcement chopper.

Frazzled, Jasper Harrison was worried that the Edgewater, Fl. police were searching for him and that they would arrest him, so he decided to call authorities. The Orlando Sentinelreports that the helicopter actually belonged to a local broadcast news station that was reporting on an unrelated story. Harrison told the dispatcher, "I'm the guy they're looking for."

According to the Orlando Sentinel, law enforcement wasn't even in the same neighborhood where Harrison and his storage unit were located. When Harrison called police he instructed officers that he was "locked inside his rented storage unit," according to Edgewater police Capt. Joe Mahoney.

Harrison was arrested immediately after authorities found him. The Orlando Sentinel reports that Harrison is facing several charges, including cultivating marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of pot with the intention to sell.

He was released on bond from the Volusia County Jail, according to the Huffington Post.
