Gun TV Will Allow You to Buy Firearms and Accessories From Your Couch

It's like QVC but with guns.

Just as reports surfaced that America has seen more mass shootings than days in 2015 and a married couple killed more than a dozen people in San Bernadino on Wednesday, guns are once again at the forefront of national conversation. So now would be a good time to purchase one, right? Well, thanks to a new home shopping channel, obtaining one just became a lot more convenient.

Gun TV will allow its viewers to buy firearms, ammunition, holsters, clothing and more, Rolling Stonereports. The channel will debut in January 2016 with six hours of programming set to air from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. ET before possibly expanding to a 24-hour cycle. In order to get those guns moving off the shelves, the network will enlist former law enforcement officers, military workers and Olympic marksmen to demonstrate and describe the products.

Unlike QVC, however, consumers won’t be able to ship their newly-purchased firearms to their homes. Instead, the guns will arrive at the closest federally licensed gun shop where a background check will be performed and the buyer will be allotted the proper paperwork.

Despite limited air time, purchases can be made 24 hours a day either online or by phone. Happy shopping!
