Quentin Tarantino has been criticized for years for his liberal use of the N-word in his movies, from Reservoir Dogs to Pulp Fiction to Jackie Brown and Django Unchained. The Hateful Eight comes out next week, and while we don't know if it appears in that script, we definitely wouldn't be surprised.

Some, such as Tarantino's longtime collaborator Samuel L. Jackson, have defended his friend's use of that language, while director Spike Lee had a notable falling out with Tarantino after Lee criticized the white writer/director for writing the word into his screenplays.

Regardless of where you come down in this debate, you can't really weigh in until you watch the above video from Gawker's Rich Juzwiak, which will remind you just how often this word appears in Tarantino's films, which, by the way, is a lot. A whole lot. The video runs for a full, disturbing 18 minutes.
