Donald Trump is in hot water once again after calling for the U.S. to ban Muslims for entering the country. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and others panned him for those Islamophobic comments, and now Bernie Sanders is adding to the conversation.

During a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Democratic hopeful took Trump to task for alienating people rather than bringing them together. In the clip uploaded to YouTube, he said:

“Jimmy, throughout history you have had demagogues trying to divert attention away from the real issues. This country today faces some enormous problems. We have a middle class that’s disappearing. We have almost all wealth going to the top 1%. We have climate change. We have a corrupt campaign finance system. What somebody like a Trump is trying to do is to divide us up.

When asked if he was more focused on beating Trump or Hillary Clinton, he opted for both. “I look forward to beating Donald Trump,” he said. “I would enjoy that race very, very much. But first, we’ve got to get past Secretary Clinton and I think we’re going to do that as well.”
