Wow what a week it’s been for Donald Trump eh? Ever since spouting his ridiculous proposals to ban Muslim immigrants from the United States and monitor American-Muslims via ID tags, a petition has been passed through parliament to ban the toupee rocking Republican candidate from entering the UK.

Whilst this petition was set up a few months back, the passing of the petition couldn’t come at more convenient time, after he claimed yesterday that “We have places in London and other places that are so radicalised that the police are afraid for their own lives.”

A petition reaching more that 100,000 signatures means that Parliament were required to consider the issue for debate. Speaking to the House today, Chancellor George Osbourne, who was filling in for an absent David Cameron, condemned Trump’s recent statements siting his remarks as going against the "founding principle of the United States". However he rejected the petition to ban the US Presidential candidate from the UK, saying that "The best way to defeat nonsense like this is to engage in robust democratic debate and make it very clear that his views are not welcome."

According to the BBC

The full text of the petition - entitled "Block Donald J Trump from UK entry" - reads: "The UK has banned entry to many individuals for hate speech. The same principles should apply to everyone who wishes to enter the UK.
"If the United Kingdom is to continue applying the 'unacceptable behaviour' criteria to those who wish to enter its borders, it must be fairly applied to the rich as well as poor, and the weak as well as powerful."

You would think that this would’ve been a bad look for multi-billionaire loudmouth, but knowing what goes on his deluded mind he’ll probably find a way to look at this as another win.
