"Bad relationship? Let us help you end it." That's the tagline for The Breakup Shop, a website that breaks up with your boyfriend or girlfriend so you don't have to. After all, as dating becomes more and more impersonal thanks to apps like Tinder and Serendipity, it only make sense that breakups are following the same trend.

Mashable spoke toMackenzie and Evan, the brothers who created the app, who confirmed that, unlike Rumblr (the "Tinder for fighting" app that turned out to be a marketing ploy), The Breakup Shop is absolutely real. Its breakup offerings range from a text for $10 to a personalized letter for $20 to a phone call for $29. It also offers a breakup gift pack ($80) for the newly single, which includes things like cookies, The Notebook, wine, and Call of Duty.

Evan said that The Breakup Shop helps eliminate painful side-stepping and ghosting. "I think it's kind of a good thing," he said. "A lot of people these days think providing that text or call is not really necessary anymore...it's kind of nice to get some of that closure." Neither brother seems to think the third-party service they're providing is at all problematic. "It's the break-upper's choice," they said. "We're just providing a service."

So, if you want to make your soon-to-be-ex feel even more terrible by providing the most coldly impersonal closure possible, let The Breakup Shop's "heartbreakers" do your dirty work. (And if you're the sort of psychopath who enjoys the deep emotional pain of others, you can even become a heartbreaker yourself.)
