The Best #YourTaxis Tweets

Taxi company slayed on social media with inept #YourTaxis campaign

"Can I put that on card?"
"The machine isn't working"
"Then drive me to an ATM."
"Oh, the machine is working."#YourTaxis

Melbourne taxi company Your Taxis has emerged as front-runners for the social media failure of the year with their #YourTaxis campaign, urging Twitter users to "Tell your taxi story."

Somehow overlooking the fact that taxis are generally disliked by almost all members of the public, the optimistic campaign has been smashed with hundreds of disparaging Tweets over the last 24 hours, as Twitter users register their disdain for taxis, and praise the company's direct competitor, Uber.

We're sure not ALL taxi drivers are angry, lazy, abusive sexual predators, but the #YourTaxis hashtag unfortunately paints a very poor picture.

when i booked a cab from work a 2.30am and driver said dispatch had told him to ignore the call because it "had to be a prank" #YourTaxis
