Love and kindness do exist in this world. McDonald's workers threw a surprise birthday party for a 93-year-old customer who eats alone at McDonald's almost every day. Harry Scott visits his local fast food chain in Workington, Cumbria at least six days a week, according to Metro. Scott's daily McDonalds routine began after he lost his wife Martha six years ago.

As a regular (since 2013), Scott has become part of the the staff's community. With no children and after his wife's passing, Scott has found a little family of his own with the McDonald's workers. According to Metro Scott said, "The kids who come in here are mine as I don't have any of my own. It's company for me."

So when the McDonald's staff learned that Scott's birthday was coming up, they wanted to celebrate and do something extra special for their favorite customer. (Grab the tissues.) When Scott arrived, he was surprised to see balloons and banners decorated all over the restaurant. "When they threw the surprise party I had to wipe my eyes," he said.

The Daily Mail reports Scott can have his favorite order, a Happy Meal, for free from now on. Y'all, you really can have a happy meal.
