Jennifer Lopez has some serious issues weighing on her conscience in the trailer for her new drama, Shades of Blue. She plays an FBI agent forced to go undercover for an anti-corruption task force in order to protect her daughter and ease her financial woes. However, things aren’t so black and white for the single mom who must deal with a hot-headed boss (played by Ray Liotta) while spying on her co-workers.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Barry Levinson—who won an Oscar for Rain Man—directed the pilot and NBC ordered 13 episodes for the series last year. Watch Lopez blur the lines between good cop and bad cop in the video above.
Shades of Blue will make its debut this January.
