While everyone is stuffing their faces today full of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie, we couldn't help but wonder if Americans actually knew the story behind Thanksgiving. Most people can recall that day in elementary school when they played a pilgrim (or in my case a turkey) in their school's Thanksgiving Day play but details beyond the key players are scarce.
Complex News decided to hit the streets of Hollywood to ask people for their version of how that first Thanksgiving feast came to be, and unsurprisingly people had no idea. We heard everything from aliens to Pocahontas to pilgrims coming to America by canoe. Watch the video above for your Thanksgiving Day laughs.
