Although Broad City won't officially return to Comedy Central until Feb. 17, the past few months have brought us a few scattered Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer appearances, notably as guests on Inside Amy Schumer and to celebrate the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. But because Abbi and Ilana know how much we all miss them, yesterday they released a short clip to get us hyped for their show's return.
The clip shows both women in a Tomb Raider spoof hiking barren mountains in a snow storm. Ilana goes full-on Laura Croft and ice-picks her way up the side of a cliff while Abbi shouts support from below. Ilana has just reached the mountain's peak and is gazing down over the glorious city below...when the whole illusion is shattered.
Comedy Central published a behind-the-scenes video on Nov. 10 that gives a little insight into how exactly Ilana became such a master cliff scaler—not that there's anything she can't do.
