With Kanye now prepping to hit the campaign trail, many of us were fascinated to know who he’s picking from the current crop of candidates. Okay, maybe not fascinated, but at least mildly curious (for a hot second). Apparently, Mr. West is a big fan of Dr. Ben Carson, the brilliant surgeon with the not-so-brilliant sound bites. Recently, Dr. Carson implied that the victims of mass shootings had an obligation to avoid being shot. To illustrate his point, he told the story of being held up once at a Popeye’s, and how he avoided becoming a statistic. Kanye 2020, y’all.
