Tonight, all eyes are on the Democratic Party as potential presidential candidates go head-to-head on hot button issues like race, climate change and foreign policy. Spoiler alert: Joe Biden was not present and people apparently don’t know what socialism is.

While Bernie Sanders faces off against Hillary Clinton over gun control, Gov. Mike Huckabee seems to be fighting a different beast while live tweeting the blue party’s first debate of the year—common sense and a general social awareness.

As race entered the conversation, the Republican politician took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the divisive topic. Actually, he proved he should probably step away from the keyboard and reexamine in his life enroll in a few classes on social politics. See below.

Racism exists because we have a sin problem in America, not a skin problem. #DemDebate
I trust @BernieSanders with my tax dollars like I trust a North Korean chef with my labrador! #DemDebate

Not one for discrimination, Huckabee also tackled climate change in the least eloquent way possible.

They believe climate change is a greater threat than Islamic extremism, that a sunburn is worse than a beheading. It's nonsense! #DemDebate
