Things are looking dire for Lamar Odom, as the former NBA star was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last night and has been hospitalized since, even undergoing intubation. With the state of his health up in the air, CNN is now reporting that his estranged ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has traveled to Nevada to be by his side in this trying time.
Odom and Kardashian married in 2009, only to file for divorce in 2013 citing irreconcilable differences—which was recently finalized back in July. Since then Odom has exhibited concerning behavior in the media and all but fallen off the radar. Despite their estrangement, Kardashian has maintained her lasting affection for him, which she told us in her August/September cover story:
Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar’s gonna always be that person [for me] but that’s what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever and I’m grateful I did. Some people don’t get that ever and I had that magic for a long time.
Khloé has apparently been joined by fellow Kardashians at the hospital. Kris Jenner was spotted on the grounds, while US Weekly reports Kim is there as well. Contrary to previous reports, Keeping Up With the Kardashian camera crews did not accompany the family to the hospital to film. We'll keep you updated as this story develops.
