Today is a terribly sad day. We just got word that Tyra Banks' modeling competition show America's Next Top Model has officially been canceled after 12 years on air and will wrap up for good after its current 22nd cycle. Sure, these past few seasons have been STRUG CITY (their abroad trips used to take place in places like Paris, London, and Tokyo but this year they decided to go to... LAS VEGAS), and the photoshoots were terribly reflective of budget troubles.

lmao what the hell is going on with this season of ANTM - how are these final shots pic.twitter.com/XuqgJRWL5q

But those who stayed 'til the end will know ANTM was no less entertaining. For the past 12 years Tyra gave us ridiculous phrases like "SMIZING," "BOOCHING," and "TOOCHING," a historic judging panel meltdown, and hair drama year after year after year. So much shade was thrown, so many girls had to face their fear of heights to get the perfect shot. When the show opened up the competition to both women AND men just a couple years back, it added some deliciously entertaining sexual tension to the mix. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS JOURNEY IS OVER. AND THIS WAS LOW-KEY THE ONLY TV SHOW I CARED ABOUT.

I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU ANTM!!!!!!!!! RIP.
