The queen Viola Davis just won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Annalise Keating on How to Get Away With Murder—a historic first win for a black actress in this category. The actress quoted the OG Harriet Tubman (whose telepic she's developing over at HBO) and shouted out her fellow black actresses and filmmakers from show creator Shonda Rhimes to fellow Shondaland star Kerry Washington to Gabrielle Union, in what is hands down the best acceptance speech of the night.

Also, this standing ovation from Taraji P. Henson gives us ALL the feels and some serious SQUAD GOALS envy:

The realest and best part of Viola's speech was when she said: "The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity. You cannot win an Emmy for roles that are simply not there."

PREACH.
