The game is the game. And if The Wire were still on it's highly likely that the surviving characters would still be playing the roles we left them in. Which is just one reason why this new HBO Now clip is brief but great, because it has Sonja Sohn and Jim True-Frost reprising their roles as Kima and Prez on a stakeout, as if they never left our airwaves. (Technically, Prez ended the series as a teacher, but still.)
The scene starts with Kima and Prez in a very familiar setting: a surveillance fan, keeping tabs on struggle dealers and corner boys and bantering. Then it takes a fun, meta turn that you have to see for yourself. (Keep in mind the double HBO duty actor Aidan Gillen pulls).
