Airline Reveals R2-D2-Themed 'Star Wars' Plane

Boeing unveiled a new R2-D2 themed airplane in a ceremony that included droids and stormtroopers.

Since you can't fly in an actual X-wing (because they don't really exist), maybe you'll settle for a ride on this new Star Wars jet that looks like R2-D2.

The Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" was unveiled today in Washington where Stormtroopers were guarding the hangar and R2-D2 and C-3PO were looking on, according to USA Today.

The new jet is owned by Japanese airline All Nippon Airways and will go into service on Oct. 18 with a flight from Canada to Japan.

The company also has plans for two more droid-themed planes, as seen in the rendering they released below.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes out on Dec. 18.
