The adrenaline-fueled classic The Transporter rocked audiences when it dropped in 2002. The film was written by the masterful Luc Besson—the brains behind other hits such as the Taken trilogy and Lucy—and starred Jason Statham as Frank Martin, a hard-hitting, fast-driving mercenary who takes on one particularly thorny job that almost costs him his life.
Now, 13 years later, Frank Martin is back in reinvented form, as newcomer Ed Skrein takes the reins from Mr. Statham and assumes the iconic role. This time, Frank faces his greatest challenge yet, as he gets caught up with a trio of femme fatales seeking revenge against a Russian kingpin. Mr. Besson returns as producer for this newest chapter of the epic franchise, which is by far its most exciting yet.
