There are some who think weed is destroying society while others see it as a fun recreational activity. However, both sides can agree that gaining access to the substance is easier than ever, and now one business is planning to make purchasing marijuana even more convenient.

Mashable reports that Native Roots, a retail and medical marijuana dispensary chain, is planning to open two gas stations in Colorado Springs which will also sell medicinal marijuana. According to KOAA News, it’s not exactly legal for the two to be sold together so Gas and Grass will act as separate entities with their own entrances.

This new business model is a major convenience for patients with a doctor’s prescription to get their fill, while also loading up on gas. "It's really just kind of pairing the convenience in one specific stop," spokeswoman Tia Mattson said. The gas station will operate just as others do, with anyone able to purchase gas as well as typical items sold in convenience stores. And to keep cannabis customers coming back, Native Roots looks to provide loyalty discounts on gas.

An official opening date hasn’t been set yet but it could be as soon as October.
