Remember Jumanji? The film where two kids find a mysterious board game that releases a load of animals like lions and monkeys and elephants into a small town, and one of the kids gets suck into the game and grows up to be Robin Williams? Well, that’s the latest film to be put on the remake slate.
Variety report that it’s due to be released on Christmas Day 2016, in the US at least. No casting or director news has been hinted at yet.
Thing is, that Goosebumps trailer that came out a few weeks back just looked like a Jumanji remake. Do we really need two new takes on Jumanji?
