Remember earlier this month when Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer were vacationing together in the Hamptons and giving us deep pangs of jealousy with their adorable #BFFgoals Instas? Vacation may be over, but their friendship... is forever. Following the footsteps of the other comedic BFF duo of our time, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, J.Law and A. Schum are now writing a screenplay together.

During a New York Times interview promoting the upcoming Hunger Games finale, Mockingjay - Part 2, Lawrence broke some news about how much ink she and Schumer were spilling: "We play sisters," she said. "We're almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We've got about 100 pages right now." (Anyone else think of the Tina/Amy movie in which they play sisters?)

She added, "Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck."

Amy has already proven her knack for comedic screenwriting (with Trainwreck and her own Comedy Central show Inside Amy Schumer), but J. Law is about to show the world her own chops. They're both funny as hell, so we can only imagine the script is too. (And hopefully it's not a Sisters ripoff.)
