In a dating landscape that's so depressing that you can now archive your exes we are in dire need of some romance every once in awhile. Thankfully, Vulture, understood this by bringing two romantics of our time together: Doug Funnie, please meet Fetty Wap.

In case you forgot, Doug Funnie was the lovesick star of Nickelodeon's Doug, which ran from 1996 to 1999 and is beloved by nostalgic twenty-somethings everywhere. Fetty Wap, obviously, needs no introduction.

Vulture remixed "Trap Queen"—Fetty's now ubiquitous ode to the woman he adores—with Doug's infatuation with the HBIC of 1996, Patti Mayonnaise. Be prepared for this melding of the romantic minds to warm your heart, especially in the light of love, yet again, dying.

Should Fetty Wap be named poet laureate for bringing romance back into our lives? The answer is clearly yes.
