In 2015, we don’t think of Bill Cosby particularly highly. But of course, back in the 80s, he was a superstar. Even before his long-running sitcom, his 1983 stand-up comedy film Bill Cosby, Himself was regarded as one of the greatest filmed stand-up performances of all time.
But now, when he’s been accused of multiple, multiple rapes, his comedy doesn’t seem so funny anymore. But what if someone took out the jokes? That’s what this Vimeo video does. It edits out every joke, leaving just the audience’s applause, and Cosby’s mugging. And end result is deeply creepy, with Cosby just looking like a weird out of touch old man.
