Another epic mutant vs. mutant war is set for X-Men: Apocalypse as a new generation of mutants are revealed via Entertainment Weekly.

A giant 5,000 year-old Egyptian mutant who goes by, "Apocalypse" is to bring said destruction to the world in the new film.

EW reports that not only does Apocalypse want to destroy the world but the film will serve as a pivot point in the series, shifting the focus toward younger versions of classic characters such as Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Jean Grey (Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner), and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan).

So basically the blue Egyptian dude wakes up from his ancient, tomb slumber to a world thriving in the 80's and decides that he's not really about that life. With some evil recruitment and the topic of rebooting the world in the air— this of course brings the squad pitted against each other in typical x-men manner: Apocalypse and Erik (Michael Fassbender) vs. Charles (James McAvoy) and co.
