The Walking Dead went from a skeleton crew to full-on ensemble last season when Rick and the gang shacked up in Alexandria, the gated community that's mercifully been sheltered from hard times. Now with season six comes three more cast members to fill out the small town, and Entertainment Weeklyhas the scoop. First up is Denise (Merrit Weaver, of Nurse Jackie fame), who'll play a crucial role as the medic. You'll remember Rick took a fucking katana to the town's previous doctor, an abusive fuccboi, in the closing minutes of the finale. EW hints that the comics see her step up to fix an especially "ghastly injury, which may or may not happen on the TV version."

Then there's Ethan (character actor Ethan Embry, pictured at the top), a character showrunner Scott Gimple describes as a "composite" of various people in the source comic who's probably going to spend this season plotting an ill-fated anti-Rick coup.

And finally we have Heath (Corey Hawkins from the upcoming Straight Outta Compton), an Alexandrian supply-runner and overall wary skeptic who, (again, in the comics at least) strikes up a romance with Denise. What are the odds on these three becoming new fan favs? But knowing this show, all three could die by mid-season, lol.
