Though she reportedly just entered a lawsuit stemming from the incident, Paris Hilton might have been in on the plane prank.

Has Paris Hilton become a low-key performance artist? Well, no — but the increasingly contradictory information bubbling up around a seemingly horrific plane crash prank (of which Hilton was purportedly the victim) seems to point to some devious notions indeed. Despite recent reports that Hilton was filing a slam-dunk lawsuit stemming from the "emotional distress" caused by the brutal prank, Hilton might have been very much in on the ill-advised joke.

Though Hilton wasn't chief instigator Ramez Gala's first choice, she reportedly banked roughly $1 million for her troubles — with "top officials" in Dubai also supportive of the staged in-air incident. According toTMZ, Hilton's aforementioned lawsuit might simply be a response to the pilot and related participants taking the prank much further than she originally expected.

In short, pranks of this caliber are always most certainly a terrible idea and should not — under any circumstances — inspire some sort of a Punk'd revival.
