North Korea Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un ordered a man who owned an aquarium to be executed after learning that baby turtles starved to death under his care.

Workers at the aquarium, which raises turtles and other reptiles, said that the farm wasn't bale to receive enough food and water supplies for the animals because of power outages. That led to the deaths of many baby reptiles, including "several dozen" turtles.

South Korean news organization, the DailyNK, reports that when Kim visited the farm and "lashed out" at the staff during his tour of the facilities. Kim called the staff's complaints about electrical, equipment and water shortages "nonsensical."

According to the DailyNK, Kim then ordered the manager of the farm to be shot to death. "He was executed because some of the tanks were not adequately supplied with food and water, leading to the death of a lot of terrapins," a source told the DailyNK.

A source also told the news agency that the execution "would have happened" regardless of whether baby or adult turtles had died, because the leader wanted to "set an example."

In other news, hundreds of people are still starving in North Korea, a fact so glaringly obvious that James Franco and Seth Rogen made a whole movie to joke about it.
