Another day, another man shot by the arms of the police.

Spencer Lee McCain, 41, was shot and killed after Baltimore County police received a domestic incident call early Thursday morning. A woman with her two children said he threatened to beat her— Baltimore County Police Chief, Jim Johnson, said at a news conference. McCain was shot around 1 am at a condominium in Owings Mills.

Three officers, two white and one black, believed that McCain had a weapon and proceeded to shoot and kill him but there was no weapon found. The Guardian reports that 19 casings were found at the scene, but it was not clear how many times McCain was hit. All officers involved have been placed on administrative leave.
