If there’s one thing the name Los Angeles immediately calls to mind, it’s this: movies. From June 10 to 18, the entertainment capital of the world is holding its annual L.A. Film Fest. The festival is a week-long celebration of the finest flicks from around the world, some of which we’ve already enjoyed at other fests (like Dope) and others from so far around the world that L.A. cinephiles are lucky to have access to it (like South Africa’s Ayanda and the Mechanic). Programmed by Film Independent, the line-up is guaranteed to have something for everyone, whether you’re into more classic European fare or gritty American dramas.

Unfortunately, you can’t be everywhere at once, so we’re here to help you find the best of the best. Plan out your schedule with this: 10 Films You Need to See From the L.A. Film Festival
