The United Kingdom is properly recognizing the superiority of the United States by trying to replicate America's propensity for being fat. A report from the World Health Organization predicts 74 percent of men and 64 percent of women in the U.K. will be overweight or obese by 2030.

Those figures perfectly match the National Institutes of Health's estimations of America's overweight and obesity rates in 2009 and 2010. At that same time 70 percent of men and 59 percent of women were considered overweight or obese in the United Kingdom.

There's still work to be done if our former overlords want to become as fat as the great U.S. of A. ("A" standing for "apathy about one's health.") And it's our jobs, as proud Americans, to make sure that never happens. That means doubling down on Double Downs, exercising even less, and banning our glorious fast food companies from conducting business internationally.

It's what the Founding Fathers would have wanted.
