May the Fourth is almost over, but the Star Wars news keeps rolling in. Earlier today, Vanity Fair revealed Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o’s characters in the upcoming The Force Awakens. The latest comes from The Wrap, which reports the second planned spin-off is a Boba Fett origin story.

And guess what? Josh Trank was reportedly directing it. The news comes days after Trank’s exit from the film. The first planned spin-off, starring Felicity Jones, is Star Wars: Rogue One, to be directed by Gareth Edwards. Rogue One will follow a rebel mission on the Death Star.

Rumors of a Boba Fett Solo film go back to last year when director Jon Schnepp talked about the standalone films and revealed:

1.

"One of them is Boba Fett. It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan."
