When you see Star Wars: The Force Awakens this winter, look for the Stormtrooper that looks a little different. You won't be able to smell the martini on him, but perhaps instead of a blaster he'll be carrying a Walther PPK.
Simon Pegg, talking to The Independent, let slip that James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, has a cameo in the film. Addressing a rumor that he himself might be an anonymous Stormtrooper in the movie, Pegg told the paper:
"I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper."
And then he immediately realized that his offhand comment was going to go everywhere, because Star Wars.
"I shouldn't have said that,” he said.
Considering how many people would probably love a chance to get on the Star Wars set for even a day, don't be surprised if we find out later that JJ Abrams let a few of his other celebrity friends put on the white helmets.
