Only two days after Michelle MacLaren dropped out as director of the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, the studio has chosen her replacement, Variety reports.

Patty Jenkins will take the helm of the film starring Gal Gadot as the DC Comics heroine. Her credits include writing and directing the drama Monster, which won Charlize Theron an Oscar for playing serial killer Aileen Wuornos. She also directed the Emmy-winning pilot of The Killing and a few episodes of Entourage and Arrested Development.

MacLaren left the project due to "creative differences" with the studio. She is best known as an executive producer on Breaking Bad, who also directed about a dozen episodes of that series.
