For Some Reason, HBO Is Giving Whitney Cummings Another Show

Because '2 Broke Girls' still airing isn't bad enough.

Like a phoenix, Whitney Cummings has risen from the ashes (of failed TV escapades e.g. NBC sitcom Whitney and her E! talk show) to return to the small screen thanks to HBO. Cummings is set to star in a comedy pilot based on Maureen Dowd’s book Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide.

The show’s being described as showcasing,

"modern relationships that focuses on human nature and social construction using documentary elements and appearances from experts to help the characters understand the biological basis of their behavior."

This comes in addition to a HBO stand-up special which will air next year. If the show’s a bust at least she’s got 2 Broke Girls—much to our misfortune.
