The CW's monopoly on small screen superheroes continue pretty much unchecked. Thanks to the continued success of The Flash and Arrow, DC may be playing catch-up with Marvel in movie theaters, but television is a battlefield where DC is dominating. Able to take risks that big budget, Hollywood projects don't have the time or inclination to gamble on, the CW's stable of DC properties is expanding giving the DC Universe a breadth that makes its massive stable of heroes all the more accessible. No place is that better demonstrated than by one Candice Patton. She plays opposite Barry Allen as Iris West in The Flash and has given the character a dimension and dynamic all her own. The Dallas native sat down to talk torn ACLs and what her idea of the perfect superpower is.
