The annual Star Wars Celebration followed up yesterday's The Force Awakens trailer with the revealing of the next generation of Battlefront. The reveal trailer hits the ground running on a beautifully rendered Endor, where the rebels square off with the Galactic Empire. Each explosion is more glorious than the last and has us eager for the November 17 release date.
Developer DICE has said the new Battlefront won't include a campaign mode, according to IGN. Instead it'll feature short missions that can be played alone, or cooperatively split-screen or online. "The game is first and foremost a multiplayer game," DICE GM Patrick Bach said. "Battlefront was a multiplayer game. That’s the game we wanted to create—to recreate the battles of the Original Trilogy."
Battlefront will be available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
