Pray for NYC, and whoever it is that runs the @Seamless Twitter account.

The Seamless food delivery service's website went down Thursday night displaying a placeholder page reading "coming soon" and sending hangry people into a panic on Twitter as they tried to remember how they got food in the pre-Seamless era.

Meanwhile the service's official Twitter account was responding to an avalanche of tweets with the questionable-yet-polite strategy of apologizing to each person individually.  Seamless said it was experiencing "technical issues," which may or may not be a euphemism for "forgetting to renew our domain name."

Some people were in a glass case of emotion.

Others were confused.

@Seamless this might be a horrible night... I forgot how to call a restaurant for food... :/

Some prepared for the worst.

3.

Seamless DNS is unexpectedly down. Pretty sure there's a higher chance of cannibalism in NYC by morning than there was with Hurricane Sandy.
