Larry Wilmore has repeatedly said he'll stop talking about racism when it stops happening. And as we've seen once again in the police killing of Walter Scott, we still have a long way to go. The Nightly Show host called the latest black man shot in the back by a cop as American as an "apple pie filled with baseballs cooked by a bald eagle with the head of Guy Fieri." To further highlight American law enforcement's incessant racism, Wilmore played a clip of two spring break bros in an altercation with a police officer. Unsurprisingly, a gun is never brought out. And that's how it should be. It especially should have been the case when Walter Scott was running from but not threatening officer Michael Slager after a traffic stop.
