Last night marked the premiere of Jimmy Fallon's new Spike show, Lip Sync Battle. The first battle has the show off to an incredibly entertaining start, pitting Fallon against The Rock. The first round featured The Rock syncing Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off"—a great choice because of the dichotomy between TSwift and the former wrestler alone—and Fallon syncing Harry Belafonte’s "Jump In The Line." But the true showmanship came out in the second round.

Fallon donned a preacher's robe and was backed by a full choir during his performance of Madonna's "Like a Prayer." The Rock retorted with a throwback white suit with dancers and a disco ball to match while performing the Bee Gees' "Stayin’ Alive." Both were phenomenal, but it was The Rock who came out on top as the show's first champion.

Watch the epic second round above.
