As Mark Zuckerberg figures out a way to both sigh and cheer at once, let's browse the results of a recent Pew Research Center study which polled American teens aged 13 to 17 regarding their daily internet habits. An unsurprising majority (92%) of those surveyed claimed extensive daily internet usage, while 25% of those said they would label such usage as "almost constant."

According to Quartz, the study also suggests that a person's financial status plays a crucial role in their chosen social media presence. Though a laughably large 71% of those surveyed said they still use Facebook, the frequency of that usage seems to be related to each person's socioeconomic status. According to the study, 49% of those who admitted to still using Facebook said they use it most often — compared to just 37% of teens whose household income is more than $50,000 and a mere 31% for teens in a $100,000+ household. The richer the kid, the more likely they were to choose Instagram over Facebook.

I, for one, would still like the Pew Research Center to study those people who sent me all those FarmVille requests back in 2012. You're the reason I sometimes post screencaps of my Twitter on Instagram now.
